YOUNG PEOPLE are often referred to as the ‘Future of the Church’. In the Parishes of Narraghmore & Moone we believe that they are the present of the Church. To refer to young people as the ‘future of the church’ denies them their rightful place in the life of the Church today and not at some distant time in the future.

Here in the Parishes of Narraghmore and Moone we encourage and welcome the full, active and conscious participation of young people in the life of our parishes. If you like to get involved in any way, or if you have any questions, please get in touch.

The Pope John Paul II Award

One of the ways that we encourage young people to be involved is through the Pope John Paul II Awards. What are the Pope John Paul II Awards?

It is a faith achievement award for young people between the age of 16 and 18. It is non-competitive, inclusive, flexible and voluntary.
